Sub: Complaint against ERA officials.

Hon’ble Sir,
With due reverence regard, I would with the utmost level of humility bring forward the following to your kind notice:
1. That I am a resident of Gulbahar Coly. Hyderpora Srinagar, where ERA has been constructing drainage facility for some time around one year from now in that process the compound wall of my residence had got badly damaged, for which the concerned officials the contractor promised me a due compensation.
2. That since a year from now I have been repeatedly knocking every door to look into the matter stated above only to meet a sheer failure at all ends. Be it mentioned that the officials namely Mr. Dubey (Director), Mr. Ganjoo, Mr. Sajad APM, Er. Mushtaq were time on approached by me telephonically personally, but even they failed to address my issue probably due to their callous attitude or presumably some hidden nexus with the contractor(s).
3. Hon’ble Sir, please take a due note of the fact that the marriage ceremony of my sister got postponed twice due to this callous careless attitude of erring officials of ERA.
4. Hon’ble Sir, the compound walling (wherever it was damaged in the process) of vacant plots in my residential area was done on priority, whereas I was left high dry with failed pleas appeals. Kindly take a note of the fact the contractor(s) to whom the said work was allotted on many occasions exhibited the limits of arrogance over the issue, presumably under the un due patronageencouragement of ERA officials.
Hon’ble, I would with the folded hands request your good self to kindly ponder over the above redress the issue at the earliest lending the lost institutional credibility to the department the concerned office.

It is a fact that some damages have occurred to compound walls of locals during execution of drainage project owing to very poor soil conditions encountered during execution and also the fact that area used to remain submerged for long span of time. The restoration of these damaged walls was not in the scope of original contract and hence issue had to be got approved by the higher authorities besides ADB. After getting the approval in principle, the restoration work of compound wall of the complainant was taken up in hand on priority Inspite of winter season and subzero temperature conditions. The complainant was apprised of this situation and advised by the officers mentioned in the complaint to wait till the temperature improves but it was only on his instant that the restoration work was taken up in hand inspite of unfavorable weather condition. The plaster work remains pending besides few other minor incompletion. Once, the temperature improved, the contractor was directed to complete the minor incompletion but the labour and mason were not allowed to takeup the work by the complainant. The officers visited the spot to ascertain the reasons. A few more attempts were made by the contractor to carry out remaining repairs but the complainant is not allowing the contractor to set right the balance damages resulting in a deadlock. The compound wall and all property within his compound is totally safe and secure.
